Short brief on our last 3 project
Shopify - Neto Migration
We worked with an Online retailer in the “Home Living Décor” space, to migrate their current website from Shopify to Neto. They are a multi-channel online retailer and they felt that Shopify was holding them back from quickly and easily adding additional sales channels as well as managing each sales channel differently. They wanted to manage pricing, delivery fees, promotions and product ranges differently for each channel, and Shopify was not able to do this for them.
We implemented Neto by Maropost. We used a custom Web Store Theme to ensure that the existing aesthetics were very similar to their old site. We used Klaviyo for Digital Marketing, Shippit for fulfilment, AusPost for delivery rates with Australian, Stripe as a payment gateway and also linked to Instagram for Social posts.
They are now able to sell through e-Bay with detailed category templates, as well as many others including Kogan, Catch, MyDeal, Amazon and others.
They are now able to onboard new Marketplaces / Channels in a fraction of the time. They are now able to flexibly manage the delivery charges, promotions and pricing, all differently per channel. They have also significantly improved their ability to sell and take orders at various shows and exhibitions, by using Maropost POS on the iPad. All of these improvements have enabled them to increase their turnover, by roughly 70%. There are still a few marketing improvements to be made, but they are well on way to significantly improving their business performance.
Microsoft Dynamics Implementation Management
We completed project, in which we had the pleasure of working with a fantastic Melbourne based Professional Services Business. They are part of a Global group and are Industry Leaders in delivering professional services to their Industry. Their services are outstanding, but their internal business applications needed a refresh to enable their business to grow further and faster and for them to become more efficient and ultimately more profitable.
As the Digital Transformation Project Manager, we assisted them in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project for Operations (ProjOps) as well as Power Bi to report on the entire suite of applications. All applications are integrated using dual write and the Data Verse. Our understanding is that we were the first business (or one of) to fully implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project for Operations in Australia. There were many learnings and as new adopters we did face some challenges, as expected.
We are pleased to say that the project came in on time and within budget. We worked with a Microsoft Partner, who also needed to learn ProjOps, and who did a great job, especially with FinOps and ProjOps. We are very pleased to have worked with this business as we have been engaged with them in varying capacities since 2014. We wish the entire team continued success with their business and personal lives.
Digital Transformation Refresh
We spent a interesting and busy year working with a Private Equity Group, as their Digital Transformation Project Manager, assisting them in consolidating their Import, Wholesale, Distribution & On-line Retail Businesses onto a single Enterprise Business Application.
During the life of this project, we refreshed their Wide Area Network, improved their Enterprise Business Application, migrated newly acquired businesses onto it, developed a new Warehouse Interface, switched over to the New Physical Warehouse, developed and moved onto a new Online Store and implemented Netstock (an Inventory analysis and management system). We also implemented a group wide Business Intelligence reporting solution. We worked with many fantastic, capable Partners and individuals. The project was completed within budget.
